About This Channel
Ddeonggaeddeong (떵개떵) is one of Korea's first-generation mukbang channels, with around 5 million subscribers. The name comes from a pair of brothers — Gaeddeong and Ddeonggae — who started out streaming on AfreecaTV in 2014 before moving to YouTube; the younger brother now leads most of the content. The videos are "real sound" mukbang: minimal talking, just close-up eating with a signature greeting and the occasional blooper that fans love. The lineup runs from chicken and ramen to seafood, with the odd novelty food thrown in. It's a long-running, familiar staple of the Korean eating-show genre.
